I am a sound artist and musician who makes experimental electronic instruments and sound installations.
I like to combine audio technology, sound, and music to make new interfaces for creative expression, as well as interactive systems to stimulate awareness and engagement with environmental acoustics.
I am a graduate of the Digital Arts and New Media MFA program at UC Santa Cruz, where I was involved with interdisciplinary art-science and robotic engineering research.
Previously, I received a BA in Music Composition from UC Santa Barbara, then lived in Los Angeles where I developed skills in electronics and sound design while wearing different hats as an audio editor, sound designer, and composer in the film, game, and new media industries.
Now I am based in the Bay Area of Northern California and when I’m not working on new projects, I enjoy whistling, finger drumming, field recording, and hiking. I’m a fun guy. Send me an email : -)
